Hikes and road trips, one app
Every car and every hiker, in real time
Photos land exactly where you took them
Nothing is tracked outside a trip
Out on the trail, everyone is on one map. When you are home, choose what you share, let AI write the story from what really happened, and make a song. The same on the web, your phone and your watch.
Screens from MMM's simulated outings on mountainmates.co.za: the mates, names and photos are made up for the demo.
Everything that makes a hike work — planning, live location, pinned photos, the memory that writes itself — works just as well when the route is a mountain pass and the waypoints are fuel, lunch and the viewpoint.
Waypoints for water, the turnoff, the summit and where you regroup. Roll-call when the group spreads out. SOS on the wrist.
Waypoints for fuel, lunch, the viewpoint and the overnight stop. Every car live on one map so nobody gets left at the petrol station. Photos pinned to each town you passed.
Drop waypoints for water, the turnoff, the summit and where you regroup — before you leave home.
Set off together and everyone goes live on one map — from your phone or your watch. On foot or on the road, switch any time.
Photos pinned where you took them, a story AI writes only from what really happened, a song, and a replay of where every mate was.
Private by default. Go public with just your part, or the group's — every mate is asked once, and only the yes people show.
Apple Watch and Wear OS sign in from your phone. Alerts, I'm fine, Finish and SOS on the wrist.
Each mate gets their own link by WhatsApp or email. One tap and they're on the outing.
Hold SOS and the group knows where you are. Wait for me, falling-behind alerts and the roll-call.
Join a simulated hike or road trip with mates the server moves for you — see it all before your first outing.
Every guide walks you through the real screen, step by step, and reads itself out. One mute for good.
Nothing is tracked outside an outing. You choose who sees your photos, your line and your story.
Come as yourself and a few mates, or bring the whole club. Both get the full app — live location, safety roll-call and AI memories.
